Hard At Work!

Check out this massive progress! This is MY photography that I have edited majorly. You can easily tell what has been edited. These images will be incorporated into a mixtape cover for De Joint music, a underground Caribbean music label that releases DJ mixes.

A lot of these DJ's that I do cd covers for take me for granted, and really dont realize how much work and effort I put into my work. I ain't no half ass designer and that's real talk! At times they'll contact me and expect free stuff, like really, eat shit.

Some designers think they are THE shit, yet they don't do anything from scratch. They do everything half ass. They google elements that they need instead of doing it themselves, from scratch. There are also many 'designers' that don't gain copyrights if using an image from the internet, which could eventually get the designer and the client into legal trouble. An example could be using a image of a female model on a mix tape cover for a DJ, but the female model has no affiliation with that mix tape cover. Therefore, hunts down the designer and client and sues!! Yes this has happened before! But ERIC SEEN avoids that by creating his own photography and elements that will be used in his designs.

There are potential clients that contact you, tell you what they want this and that. In the end, they don't want to pay because it's too expensive. People like this don't realize how much effort is put into these things. They think it easy just to get photoshop and whip up a design, NO! It requires several different programs and steps, including; drawing, rough copies, edits and all that good stuff.
